Your credit card is charged at the time your order ships, not at checkout. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as payment is processed.
Yes — you'll receive an order confirmation when your order is placed and a shipping confirmation with tracking when it leaves our warehouse. If you don't see them, check your spam or junk mail folder.
Cancellations must be confirmed via email before your order ships. Email sales@americandarling.com with your order number as soon as possible — we process quickly so act fast.
Yes — free shipping on all US orders over $99. Orders under $99 are charged standard UPS or FedEx Ground rates. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii ship via USPS at a flat rate of $40 per item.
Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday and typically leave our warehouse within 3–5 business days. We do not ship on weekends or public holidays. Carrier delays may occasionally affect transit times.
We ship via UPS or FedEx Ground for standard addresses. Orders to a PO Box are shipped via USPS. We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.
At this time we only ship within the United States. We do not offer international shipping and apologize for any inconvenience.
Items purchased on americandarling.com can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in new condition, with original tags attached. Gift items are not eligible for return.
A Return Authorization Number (RMA) is required — items returned without one will not be accepted. Email sales@americandarling.com to request yours. Please allow up to two business weeks for your refund to be issued to the original payment method.
Yes. Email sales@americandarling.com with the product IDs of the items you'd like to exchange. We'll issue a return label and RMA number. Items must be shipped back within 7 business days of RMA issuance.
If there's a price difference we'll let you know before processing. Note: clearance items and free-shipping promotions are excluded from price adjustments.
Contact us immediately at sales@americandarling.com. Please retain all original packing materials and the carton for carrier inspection. Damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
We will replace the item with an identical or similar item of equal value, or apply a credit toward your next order.
Yes — our guarantee covers manufacturing defects for items purchased directly from americandarling.com. Proof of purchase is required. The guarantee does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, third-party alterations, or airline/carrier damage.
Note: natural markings in leather are not considered defects — they are a sign of genuine, premium hide.
Yes. Every piece is crafted from genuine leather hand-selected from premier tanneries worldwide — including vegetable-tanned hides from Brazil and Argentina — proprietary finished at our Texas facility before any bag ships.
Our bags are handcrafted by skilled artisans using proprietary finishing techniques, then inspected at our warehouse in Rosenberg, Texas before shipment. Leather is globally sourced from the finest tanneries.
Daily: Wipe with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and moisture.
Conditioning: Apply leather conditioner every 3–6 months. Avoid petroleum-based products.
Avoid: Direct sunlight, heavy rain, extreme heat, and submerging in water.
Storage: Stuff with tissue paper; store in a breathable dust bag in a cool, dry place.
Our vegetable-tanned leathers develop a rich patina with age — a mark of genuine quality.
Not at all — natural grain variations, subtle colour differences, and small markings are characteristics of genuine full-grain leather. No two hides are identical, which makes every American Darling bag truly one of a kind.
